A passionate academician with expertise in the areas of Personal Finance, Wealth Management, and the BSFI sector, Dr. Kumar brings over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and consulting. He earned his doctorate from Aligarh Muslim University and is an FDP alumnus from IIM Indore. In 2012, he was awarded the prestigious UGC Junior Research Fellowship.
Dr. Kumar is currently associated with Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad as the Controller of Examinations and Associate Professor – Finance. He has previously served as a faculty member at renowned institutions, including Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, and Goa Business School, Goa University.
An active trainer, he specializes in Personal Finance, Research Methods, and Data Analysis, and is a Certified Internal Auditor. Dr. Kumar has conducted numerous Management Development Programs (MDPs), Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and workshops in these areas.
His research has been published in Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC, and UGC-indexed journals. His work has also been appreciated at several international conferences, including at Loughborough University, London, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Indore.
In addition, Dr. Kumar serves as a reviewer for leading international journals such as Sage and Inderscience. He has also contributed as a translator for a project undertaken by the University of Windsor, and worked as a field investigator for a UGC minor research project.
