Dr.Nidhi Sahore is an Associate Professor in the Finance Area.She holds 17 + years of rich teaching, research, training and consultancy experience.Dr.Sahore earned her Ph.D.in Management - Finance & amp; Accounting area from FMS - MLSU, Udaipur.She has been awarded the Jagdish N.Sheth Best Thesis Award with a citation and a cash prize of Rs.50, 000 for the year 2018.
She has published 20 papers including ABDC A, B and C category in journals of repute with 2 intellectual properties one national and one international(patents published and granted) to her credit.She has presented 18 conference papers at Pan IIT, Pan IIM and IFC conferences held at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Kashipur, IIM Shillong, IIT Kharagpur, ISDI - SPJIMR and IIM Raipur to name a few. She has attended many faculty development programmes and workshops in research as well as for crafting effective student learning experience.
She has been conducting corporate training and Management Development Programmes(MDPs) on the topics“ Finance for Non Finance Managers” and“ Financial and Digital Literacy for women” for senior executives of renowned organizations and PSUs in India like BHEL and NFL.Apart from this she undertook two sponsored consultancy projects with CHINTAN Environment Research Action Group in the area of women and girl child empowerment.
Her current research and publishing is in the area of Corporate Disclosures, Corporate Sustainability Reporting, ESG & amp; SDGs, Carbon Accounting, Fintech, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Finance and has taught courses in finance area like Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Infrastructure and Project Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Planning and Wealth Management, Legal Aspects of Business, Business Environment & amp; Managerial Economics and accomplished a certification in sustainable finance from OXFORD Smith School, UK.She is a certified POSH(prevention of sexual harassment at workplace) Trainer.In 2020 she penned a book“ The laughing Ghosts: Salvation of the Slaved Spirits” to reveal her creative side that won her the WORDSBREW book award for the best fiction novel of the year 2021 by the Blue Rose publishing house.
