Dr. Nidhi Sonkar, UGC NET qualified is an accomplished academician with expertise in Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behaviour, and Human Resource Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, with her research focusing on the Startup India Scheme in Uttar Pradesh. With significant teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, she has contributed extensively to curriculum development, student mentorship, and the promotion of entrepreneurial learning.
She has served as Executive Officer at Awadh Incubation Foundation, where she successfully secured a ₹1.5 crore government grant and supported the incubation of innovative startups under the StartInUP initiative. She has also made significant contributions as Training and Placement Cell Incharge, leading successful placement drives and building strong industry collaborations to enhance student career opportunities.
Her academic contributions include publications in SCOPUS and ABDC-listed journals, along with several book chapters and an edited volume on the National Education Policy (NEP), reflecting her engagement with educational reforms and policy development. She has also been actively involved in organizing and national seminars, workshops, and student development programs.
She is a proud recipient of prestigious awards like the MANU M. SHAH Memorial Research Award and the Prof. Samuiddin Memorial Award, in recognition of her outstanding research contributions at national conferences. An active member of the Indian Commerce Association, She regularly participates in national and international conferences, faculty development programs (FDPs), and academic workshops.
