About The Seminar

Cloud services have grown in popularity over the past couple of years. Cloud computing is the number one strategic trend in the recently released top 10 strategic technologies from Gartner. According to Gartner's report, Cloud Computing is a computing model in which providers remotely deliver a variety of IT-enabled, on-demand capabilities to consumers.

For India, cloud appears to be an obvious fit, as it can help remove barriers to costly technology, opening opportunities for new services and products. A key objective is to encourage small business owners, new entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations and academia to collaborate and share knowledge. We like to say that, as a nation, the cloud is the force-multiplier that India must embrace with purpose and clarity.

The need for "anytime and anywhere" information has increased demand for mobile technologies. Mobile technologies using cloud computing allow the user to access the information very easily at any place and at any time.

The prominent reason behind organization of National Seminar on Mobile Technology and Cloud Computing – Challenges and Opportunities is to bring together eminent academicians, researchers, Scientist, scholars and industry professionals on a forum to impart and share their perspectives on emerging issues, challenges, research outputs in the area of cloud computing and mobile computing.
