Yoga is very important for everyone's life as it helps in balancing the relationship between body and mind. To promulgate the importance of Yoga amongst its students, faculty & staff members IMS Ghaziabad organized a Special Yoga session on November 11, 2016. Prof. J.P Sharma, Director – IMS Ghaziabad inaugurated the event by emphasizing the contribution of yoga in maintaining fitness, good health and how it can help the students in memorising and understanding concepts. He stressed upon the fact that yoga is the scientific way of living healthy and increasing life expectancy.
The Special Yoga Session was conducted by Mr. Dharmendar Panwar, a well-known yoga trainer. The demonstration aimed at inspiring young minds to incorporate yoga into their daily routine, awaken and explore subtle energies to have a better control over the mind and body. Students performed different asanas under the guidance of the expert yoga trainer. All Faculty, Staff members, PGDM and MCA Students enthusiastically participated in the event.
