In its constant endeavor to contribute towards the development of Intellectual Capital of nation and to provide innovative platform for research opportunities; IMS Ghaziabad successfully conducted Faculty Development programme on July 4, 2015. Shri Rakesh Chharia, Managing Trustee; Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad; Prof (Dr.) V P S Arora, President, CEGR and Vice Chancellor, Supertech University; Dr. Amrendra Pani, Research Director, AIU; Dr. Mohd Naved Khan, Associate Professor, AMU; Dr. Ajay Kumar Chauhan, Assistant Professor, IMT Ghaziabad inaugurated the event and welcomed all the dignitaries from distinguished academia and industry.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar – Director of IMS Ghaziabad during her address highlighted the role of teaching fraternity in Nation-building by transforming the lives of student community. She further signified the importance of research for adding value and quality in teaching pedagogy. She acknowledged the presence of learned veterans from more than 20 renowned institutions as participants. The FDP was focused on Advanced Research Tools- Structural Equation Modeling and aimed to develop the participants with the dynamic trends of research methodology and shape their research work in the right direction. This workshop provided hands on experience on Structural Equation Modeling which is one of the most useful and popular techniques for testing the measurement theory and the structural relations among variables.
The programme was attended by around fifty five delegates from reputed academic institutions from all over the country. FDP concluded with the valedictory session where participants were felicitated with the certificates of participation. They expressed their gratitude towards the institute for organizing such innovative workshop. The faculty convener Ms. Surabhi Singh presented vote of thanks to Management and Director for their immeasurable support during the conduct of FDP in making it a grand success.
