Keeping its commitment to provide holistic developmental platform, Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad organized a 2 days inter college Social Media Boot Camp in association with NEISBUD, Noida on January 6th & 7th, 2015. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director – IMS Ghaziabad and Mr. Harneet Bhalla, Digital Media Expert inaugurated the Inter College Boot Camp where more than 100 candidates from all over India participated.
TESS (The Entrepreneurial Student Society) of IMS Ghaziabad devised this initiative. On the first day techniques of ‘Facebook Marketing’ – a popular marketing platform providing a two way communication where people can acquire information as well as convey their own comments at the same time. This facilitates exchanges and interactions among people and further a globalized Information flow.
The second day was followed by techniques for the other Social media platforms like Twitter & LinkedIn. Maintenance of profiles, usage of profiles for personal & business promotions, hands on experience on the above mentioned practices were few of the aspects covered. The two days camp was a success with participation of more than 100 candidates from all over India.
