ACHIEVING SERVICE EXCELLENCE THROUGH CUSTOMER ORIENTATION, Saturday, December 6, 2014.

The Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad organized the above MDP on a very contemporary theme in keeping with its glorious tradition of imparting quality education and training to commemorate 25 years of legacy. This program organized in association with NIESBUD (National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development) was primarily aimed at bridging the industry-academia divide and enhance the institute-industry interaction. The program, organised under the patronage of Shri Rakesh Chharia, Managing Trustee, IMS Society and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director-IMS Ghaziabad, was inaugurated by Dr. Rishi Raj Singh (Director International Training Programmes), NIESBUD. Dr. Makkar welcomed the dignitaries and delegates from eminent organizations like ALSTOM, UEM Group, Nucleus Software and many others and emphasized on the significance of customer orientation.

The facilitators Dr. Harsh Verma , a senior academician from , FMS, Delhi University and Mr. Vishal Gupta,Director National Sales-Delhi NCR at Marriott International emphasized on the key issues by using a blend of case discussions, group exercises, games and discussions. Dr. Timira Shukla, Faculty Convenor reiterated the importance of this theme in the valedictory session which witnessed participation of over 30 delegates from industry and academia.
