IMS Ghaziabad PGDM Students visited Center of E-Governance, Delhi
PGDM 2015 Batch Visited to The Center of E-Governance- Ministry of Communication-Delhi.
Hunger for Knowledge should be like a never die attitude for any individual. It nourishes both the inner soul as well as the intellect.
IMS Ghaziabad provides such platform for its PGDM students to get professional exposures through different corporate visits that add another feather of knowledge to the personal development. Under the guidance of Dr Urvashi Makkar Director IMS Ghaziabad, a batch of PGDM 2013-2015 Batch went for a visit to the department of e-governance on 26th of August 2014.
E- Governance as rightly said by our PM Mr. Narendra Modi governance reminds of Mr. Lincoln’s Government of the people, for the people and by the people and India is gradually putting the true colors of governance in the dreams canvas.
During the visit the students were briefed about electronic channels in e-governance and the number of Public Services which are standardized in form of G2C and B2C like land records, pension, income tax, Registration of companies, utility Bills, social welfare, licenses, permits, subsidies, property tax & registration, Birth/Death certificates, and many others that too just with a click.
That is how National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) is shaping the future of the youth. An OS is made to bring India in to common platform i.e. BOSS – Bharat Operating System Solution which is one of the advanced systems that have been introduced.
PGDM Students learned lot of things to grow accordingly to become a new advanced generation that believes in TECHNOLOGY and work together for a common goal. Overall the visit was very beneficial and knowledgeable.
