A programme was organized by the Indian Medical Association, Ghaziabad on the occasion of Girl Child Day on Saturday, March 22, 2014 on falling Girl child ratio. Students and Medical practitioners from various locations have expressed their concern on the much talked about issue of fall in Girl Child Ratio in past one decade. IMS PGDM students also expressed their views and sentiments through a skit which had a social message for one and all that a girl is equally competent to represent the family and its values. Moreover, the students of IMS Ghaziabad even debated on this serious issue and tried to raise awareness amongst the audience. Eight students have participated have participated in the debate competition and Ms. Harmin Madan, PGDM 1st year student was announced second in the competition and was awarded the trophy by the Organizers.
