Admission Procedure for PGDM-TM

Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Tourism Management is a two-year full-time program approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), ministry of HRD. Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria for PGDM-TM

An applicant should have minimum of three-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the association of Indian University / AICTE.

Candidate appearing for the final examination for Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 30th October 2010.

Duration

The course is of two years duration.

Selection Procedure

Applicant for PGDM-TM program must have CAT/MAT/ GMAT/ ATMA scores or any other national level scores to apply. After applying shortlisting will be done on the basis of academics and CAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT score. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for the GD/PI session.
Note:-Application processing fees of Rs. 1100 will not be refunded in any case.

Admisson Guidelines

A candidate has to apply for admission to IMS Ghaziabad on the application form enclosed with the prospectus along with duly attested copies of the following.

Attested copy of CAT/MAT/ GMAT/ ATMA scores
Certificate and Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination passed
Relevant certificate to verify the date of birth.

The prospectus and the application form for the programme can be obtain from IMS Ghaziabad counter against the payment of Rs.1100 towards the fee for evaluating and processing of the application form. Candidate may request for the application form, by post on the payment of Rs.1150 or can down load the application form by visiting IMS website http://www.ims-ghaziabad.ac.in and by enclosing a demand draft for Rs.1100 in favour of IMS Ghaziabd and payable at Delhi.

The last date for submission of filled in application form at IMS campus is June 30, 2010 and should be sent to -

Evalution Process

On the basis of performance of the applicant in CAT/MAT/GMAT/ATMA or any national level scores,candidates shall be called for comprehensive evalution.the evalution process includes

Management quotient test.
Written expression test.
Group discussion.
Interviews

Admission notification

The admission committee headed by the director ims ghaziabad would review the profile & the overall performance of the applicants.successful candidates would be intimated of their final selection through the speed post or on the IMS website.
